Mental Health Retreat

Updated: Jan 31, 2023

I get it, the idea of a getaway sounds nice, but the likelihood of you taking time actually to go on a retreat is slim to none.

Why is that?

In FIVE minutes or less, I will share three important reasons why you should take time for yourself and plan to attend a retreat!

Reason One:

We were not built to work all the time.

Did you know that up until 1963, there was something called a Blue Law that prohibited people from shopping on Sundays. The beauty behind this law was that it stressed the importance of taking one whole day for God. Sunday used to be reserved for God. Sadly, it's not that way anymore.

I'm just as guilty. So, I'm not coming down hard on you, but I would like you to recognize that God designed us to rest for one day. It may not be possible for you to take an entire day off from work every week, but why not start with a retreat? Stay tuned to the end because I have a perfect retreat to invite you to!

Reason Two:

Retreating has long-standing effects! The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine says wellness retreats have lasting, measurable health benefits. Unlike a regular old vacation, this means that six months after going on retreat, you will still sustain the benefits you received on retreat.

Vacation may help you to get some rest, but a retreat will help you to rest and reset!

Reason Three:

You get more from retreats! Conferences and personal development days are wonderful. But, when you take time to retreat, especially with Fearless, you will actively participate in something beautiful God wants to do for you!

Don't just take my word for it; listen to a past retreat guest.

"I so enjoyed the last retreat (my first!). It led to such awareness and helped to flame my spiritual fire again. I feel this side of eternity is such a battle, and I'm a weary warrior. I believe that a Christian retreat, at least yearly, can be necessary to rest, revive, connect, etc."

I mentioned that I have a perfect retreat to invite you to. Well, consider this your invitation! Our world is raging with fear and anxiety — a weight we carry, producing deep physical consequences.

Join us at the Fearless Breakthrough Retreat, March 10th-12th. The Fearless teachers will be committed to pouring into you for 3 days and 2 nights, in the luxury accommodations of the Heritage Retreat House on Table Rock Lake in Branson, MO. With only 30 spaces available, this intimate setting allows us to dive deep, create friendships, and sit with you 1 on 1.

Peace is possible, but is it probable when we continue the same patterns of living? What will it take to rock the boat enough to awaken our souls? A total nervous breakdown? Whether you're on the verge of a breakdown, in the middle of one, or wondering if you're headed toward one — this retreat will show you how a breakdown can lead to a breakthrough.

With love,
